Modern Luxury Done the Fülhaus Way in Reno, Nevada

Dubbed “the biggest little city in the world,” Reno Nevada has remained a go-to tourist destination since its mid nineteenth-century silver mining days. Located near the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Lake Tahoe, Reno is best known for its plethora of outdoor attractions: hiking, skiing, hunting, and fishing. In recent years, Reno has also gained attention for its rich nightlife, casinos, and tech start-ups.

In the heart of this diverse community sits Kasa Archive Reno-Tahoe, a tech-enabled luxury apart-hotel Fülhaus recently had the pleasure of designing 83 units for. When the client came to us in early 2022, they were looking for a turnkey solution that would offer guests the freedom to mix vacation, work, and adventure in a laid-back, elevated setting.

Combining our Classic Blue and Light & Luxe design concepts, we worked closely with the Kasa team to pay homage to Reno’s rich silver mining history. With an emphasis on blues and grays, we mixed natural materials and textures alongside silver accents, and subtle pops of color to create a luxurious yet welcoming modern environment. It was important for each apartment to feel like home.

Each unit features a fully equipped kitchen, seating area, flat-screen TV, washing machine, Queen bed, and private bathroom. Guests also have access to free parking, a community room, outdoor pool, and fitness center.
